Send-to-me

Terms of service

These are the terms of service for Send-to-me as run at stm.smkd.uk. By using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

Who we are

Send-to-me is operated by SMK Digital Ltd, a company registered in Scotland (company number SC431222). Our registered office is The Green House, Beechwood Business Park North, Inverness, Scotland, IV2 3BL. In these terms, "we", "us", and "our" mean SMK Digital Ltd.

The service

Send-to-me sends links and short notes to your own email inbox. You sign in with your email address, and the service delivers only to that validated address. It does nothing else: it is not a bookmark manager, a reader, or a store of what you send.

The service is free. We provide it as-is: we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at any particular time, and we may change, suspend, or withdraw it at any time.

Your account

You sign in with a single-use link sent to your email address. Anyone who can read that inbox can sign in, so keeping your email account secure is your responsibility. Your Send-to-me account delivers only to the address you signed in with; you cannot use it to send to anyone else.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the service.

Acceptable use

Use the service lawfully and for its intended purpose. You must not:

We may suspend or delete an account that breaches these terms, without notice where the breach warrants it.

Your content

The links and notes you send are yours. We do not store their content: it lives in our server's memory only for as long as it takes to forward the message to your inbox. How the content travels from us to your inbox, and what each party along the way can see, is described in our privacy policy. You are responsible for what you choose to send through the service.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

Subject to that, because the service is provided free and as-is, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of it or from its being unavailable, to the extent the law allows. The service is for personal use; we are not liable for any business losses.

Ending your use

You can stop using the service at any time and delete your account from the settings page, which removes your account and all sessions. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms, or if we stop running the service.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. The date below records the most recent change. If you continue to use the service after a change, you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Scotland, and any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
